INGREDIENTS – FELLOWSHIP
Those who fail to follow Christ’s will, but say they have “fellowship” with Him. Those people who tell you “Jesus Reigns” as a way to gain your trust to disguise betrayal, are liars. Narcissists use faith to gain access to your heart spiritually then, hurt you with deception, lies, and silence. While it’s technically possible for such people to have saving faith, there is no way for them to produce spiritual fruit. The consequences of sin remain, even if we are free from the eternal penalty.
INGREDIENTS – FORGIVENESS
THE ONLY WAY IS FOR THEM TO ASK FORGIVENESS FROM THOSE THEY HAVE BETRAYED. WITHOUT THIS, THEY ARE NOT FREE FROM SIN!
Anyone who claims to be “in Christ” but fails to live like Him certainly does not have a fellowship relationship with Him. For example, you claim to be a religious leader, a pillar in the community, while hurting others is a sin. Claims righteousness to pray for others but emotionally hurts others, those who don’t demonstrate a Christ-like lifestyle are—at a minimum—failing to provide evidence of their salvation.
This is difficult for the Narcissists because they never apologize and just disconnect from their victims, shun them, to inflict the most emotional pain.
EXAMPLE – ONE MIGHT SAY
“I can’t seem to balance my devotion to the God I love, focusing on my aims, and my determination to self-rule, with my affection for, and pleasure in being with you. I am pulled in too many directions and everything suffers.” Now, this ingredient is a delicate one to understand its use!! In reality, they are setting up the deception and betrayal!
You must add the deceptive ingredients carefully and slowly with a spiritual tempo.
This will keep their guard down and make them feel at ease. But, they don’t destroy them just yet as the holidays will soon be approaching, and they will want the full impact by crushing the soul during the season. Makes for a fulfilling and spicey ending. They even carry this over to the New Year for an even bigger impact. Drag it out while they prepare someone new for their next narcissistic meal.
The low self-esteem of a narcissist will follow them wherever they go. They will never be happy until they apologize to the ones they have deceived and betrayed. Their self-esteem will fall to new lows until they seek forgiveness from the ones they have betrayed! Yes, God forgives but, you will feel the pain you have caused others 10 fold when you review your mortal life with the God we love! Unless you ask forgiveness from your victims directly prior to leaving this life.
